CAIRO – 11 September 2017: Filipe Luis, Atletico Madrid defender, believes that Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid star, doesn`t deserves the winning of Ballon D`or award.
Cristiano has won the prize for four times previously, and he is favourite to win it again after helping his team winning the Champions league on May 2017.
Filipe told Panenka: “The Ballon d'Or is a subjective matter; Cristiano hasn't done anything until the last two months.”
He revealed his admiration to the Argentinean magician, Lionel Messi. He praised: “I admire Messi, he’s never complained to me in any game we played but I've also never asked him for his jersey and never would. I came to win, not to say I played against Messi.”
Cristiano has recently won the Best Player in Europe for the last season over the two legends, Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Buffon.
He helped Real Madrid to win the Spanish League (La Liga), The Spanish super, The European Super.
